Created database backend, content management, inventory management, searching, and various sales, marketing, and presentation tools. Uses outside payment authorization (Cart Manager). Content management and blogging are based on custom framework I created.
The owner has experimented with various innovative features over the years, including a gift registry, gift basket, stories and movies about artisans, recipes, and product selections. Most of their products are from small artisnal vendors, and many are featured in articles to create a bond with the customer.

I rethemed an existing site, and contributed to a revised site architecture and general Drupal configuration. I used content profile to add extended profile information, and radically changed the appearance of the profile input and editing via custom templates and theming. The professional history and education fields are nodereference fileds, using noderelationships to allow creating editable lists.

An organization whose goal is establishing a sustainable food system in California by 2030 wanted a way to provide information about their programs and create a community for individuals wishing to help. The site has a way to drill down for information about the various activites and networks they are involved in. There are also community forums, events calendar, news listings, and ways for citizens to get involved.
Drupal site for educational foundation, with custom content and Ubercart based store.
The Foundation sponsors a series of salons, featuring expert speakers on green energy and performers from the world of classical music. This site provides information about the Foundation and the salons, and an online store to purchase tickets.
Small site to advertise a vacation apartment for rent in Costa Rica.
A simple site to display information about a rental apartment. There isn't currently a lot of content on the site, but it was designed to be easy to administer (the owner is visually impaired). They wanted an extremely minimalistic feel, with plenty of room for pictures and blogging.
Large scale and sophisticated consumer information site.
One of the larger and most highly-trafficed Drupal sites at the time (owned by The NY Times), this was built by a team of six developers, working remotely, using online technologies for collaboration. Originally in Drupal 5, it was migrated to 6 and redesigned in 2010.
Lola needed a combination of photo galleries, blogging, announcements, and stories from customers, in order to explain what it is she does. I built the original site, and it has since been expanded by other developers.
