technology:
Zen Cart, WordPress, Gallery2
Design:
Phil Glatz and Lisa Tana
Description:
Online store and photo gallery for an art gallery. Zen Cart was used for the boutique catalog and as a general framework, with WordPress plugged in for events and press releases (since Zen doesn't offer CMS), and Gallery2 used to present albums of exhibitions. This would probably be rewritten in Drupal if a rev 2 comes along, using Ubercart for sales.

Philosophy

I've been chippin' up rocks on the info highway for quite a few years now, and was a software developer for many years before that. I've also taken some time off over the years to be a user, an experience I heartily recommend to any developer or designer. Yep, I've used these miserable computers as a typesetter, writer, musician, and a few other fields, which forced me to to confront the reality that they aren't very easy to use.
